Blog author: Alex Stojanovic First off, this isn't an April Fool's joke. After waiting for quite a while, Bullet For My Valentine have announced that their sixth studio album is ready to see the light of day, and the first details have been revealed. The album will be titled Gravity and will be released on June 29th. The cover artwork can be seen down below. It will also be the band's first album to feature the new rhythm section of new drummer Jason Bowld, who replaced Michael "Moose" Thomas just the past December, and bassist Jamie Mathias, because he came into the band right before Venom was coming out. On top of that, earlier today, the band premiered the first single from the album called "Over It" on BBC Radio 1 in the U.K., and now they've released a lyric video, which can be streamed down below. About the album's musical direction, the band have stated it will be different than Venom. There will be some industrial elements and a lot less technicality. Some fans might not be too happy with that. I do think the song is a little mediocre and the vocal effects don't do anything for me, but the song is not Temper Temper mediocre. |
