 | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic It was back in the fall of 2017 that we heard about the formation of BlackNova, the new band featuring former Trivium members: Travis Smith (drums) and Brent Young (bass). They released one song called "Eclipse From Within" for everyone to hear, but the song has since then been taken down. In between then and now, things went a little quiet and there was some changes going on with the lineup, with the departure of guitarist Rob Adams. Today, they have announced the new official lineup, with the new additions of Bryan Phillips on lead vocals and Zakk Summers on guitar. BlackNova also announced their debut live appearance, which will take place on February 9th in St. Augustine, Florida at Shanghai Nobby's, alongside Farewell To Fear, Burden Affinity, Silent Running, Rising Up Angry and Defy The Tyrant.
