 Photo credit: Robert John  | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic In the new year, we will be getting the new album from Black Star Riders titled Heavy Fire. The cover artwork and official release date have been revealed. The album will be released January 27, 2017 through Nuclear Blast Records and the cover artwork is down below. To me, the artwork is on the cheesy side with a body builder with a French moustache and lifting a barbell with the weight plates on fire. Even though it matches with the title, it's still pretty corny if you ask me. The band have also released a lyric video for the first single "When The Night Comes In", which can be streamed below. The song itself sounds like AC/DC on steroids. The riffs sound very AC/DC inspired, just a bit faster, and the same can be said about the guitar tone. The track listing will be released soon, so keep checking back over the coming weeks for the that. The band will kick off the Heavy Fire tour cycle with an extensive U.K / Ireland tour starting in March. |
