Previously on "Shredders Of Metal", the six remaining contestants were given the task of re-creating the first five-note pattern that repeats at the beginning of the solo to Testament's "Practice What You Preach", as demonstrated by Alex Skolnick. Some did well, some not so well, and shredder Bri was shredded, leaving five competitors left. In today's episode (Episode 3), the contestants are given the task to perform a children's song in a metal style of their choice. Did they get this idea from Jim Breuer? Songs that were performed included "Three Blind Mice", "Skip To My Lou", "The Bear Went Over The Mountain", Yankee Doodle" and "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep", making this episode really interesting and fun at the same time. Five shredders and three episodes all remain as the quest to find the ultimate shredder continues on "Shredders Of Metal". Watch Episode 3 down below. |
