The wait is finally over, as Gothenburg melodic death metal veterans At The Gates have released their first taste of new music in 19 years.  The title track of their long awaited new album At War With Reality is now available for streaming and can be streamed down below.  At War With Reality is scheduled for release on October 27th on Century Media Records.

Regarding what fans can expect from At War With Reality, vocalist Tomas Lindberg says:  "To answer your question, the record will be filled with a lot of the SLAYER worship and riffage that is Slaughter Of The Soul, but people will also recognize the more dark, melodic side that was With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness, and maybe some of the more pretentious arrangements that was part of our early career."

It definitely sounds like both the long-time fans and new fans will definitely be pleased with the record.  Looking forward to the release of the album and the band will hit the road hard in support of the new album, so be sure to catch the Gothenburg titans if they hit your city!
