By now, you've heard the news that guitarist Shaun Glass has a new band called Repentance after putting Dirge Within to rest for the second time earlier this year.  Today, after weeks and weeks of teasing, the band have posted their first taste of music with the song "Collide", which you can stream down below.  All I will say is that it's pretty damn heavy!

Tremonti continue to bring us some more new tunes from their upcoming studio album A Dying Machine, coming out June 8th on Napalm Records.

After releasing the title track "A Dying Machine" and "Take You With Me", the next track available for our listening pleasure is the album's opening track "Bringer Of War", which you can stream down below.

As expected, the track is heavy and really melodic.

The biggest metal tour of the year, which is Slayer's farewell tour, officially began last night in San Diego and will be running in North America from May until late August.  The first leg will feature Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament and the second leg will see the same lineup, but Behemoth will be replaced by Napalm Death.  In between the two legs, the band will headline a festival in Iceland.

Following the second North America, Slayer will round out the year with a run across Europe in November and December, which they've announced dates for today.  The tour will begin on November 1st in Dublin, Ireland and run across the U.K. and mainland Europe before wrapping up on December 8th in Helsinki, Finland.  Special guests will be Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Obituary.  See the full list of dates below.

Well, here's a great way to start your day.  Alice In Chains have released their first new song in five years and the first official single from their upcoming studio album, which is yet to be titled.  The track is titled "The One You Know" and the music video for the track can be viewed down below.

Alice In Chains are currently on tour throughout the east coast in North America, with European dates taking place in the summer and west coast North American dates taking place from August into September.

The North American tours for the fall are starting to be announced.  After a really successful North American tour last fall, Arch Enemy are ready for round 2 this fall.  They will be heading out across North America from late September to late October with special guests Goatwhore and Uncured.

The trek is set to begin on September 28th in Providence, Rhode Island and will span 22 dates, before wrapping up on October 27th in Sayreville, New Jersey.

Michael Amott comments on the tour:  "After our hugely successful co-headline US/Canada trek with Trivium last fall, we are very much looking forward to returning to North American soil!  This time we’re hitting a slew of cities and markets we haven’t been to in a while and we can guarantee that it’s gonna be an insane Metal party!"
