For years, whenever Angra came to North America, they always did one or two sporatic shows or festival slots, but never a full tour.  However, that has all changed now, as the band have announced their first full tour of North America, set to take place this September and October.

The long-awaited tour will be in support of the band's new album ØMNI, which was just released on February 16th.  The trek will begin on September 6th with the band playing a slot at the ProgPower USA festival in Atlanta and the headline dates beginning the next day on the 7th in Winter Park, Florida.  The tour will run for 32 shows before wrapping up on October 14th in Cleveland.  Support on the tour will come from Romanian metal outfit Scarlet Aura.  You can see the full list of tour dates down below.
