It's turning out to be an exciting year for Fates Warning.  Not only are they playing special shows in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Awaken The Guardian with the classic lineup, but the current version of the band has announced that they have a new studio album coming out and all the details have been revealed, including title, release date, track listing and cover artwork.  The album is titled Theories Of Flight and will be released on July 1st via InsideOut Music.  The album will feature 8 new songs, and the mediabook edition will have a bonus disc containing acoustic versions of three unreleased originals and three never-before-heard covers.  View the full track listing below.

Los Angeles, CA – Get ready for one of the biggest metal reissues of the YEAR – a super deluxe edition of the legendary, underground classic, the 1977 debut album Keep The Dogs Away from metal icon THOR! This landmark release has become revered among music aficionados of every generation as one of the most explosive debut albums of any era with such ultra catchy rock anthems as “Keep The Dogs Away,” “Sleeping Giant,” “Thunder” and more. The CD version comes in a deluxe 6-panel digipak CD with alternate cover art, liner notes from longtime fan Brian Kehew (co-author of Recording The Beatles), 22 rare and unreleased bonus cuts on a separate disc PLUS a vintage 1980 concert DVD. The vinyl version meticulously recreates the original pressing with a foldout poster and printed inner sleeve. Both formats will officially hit the streets on May 13, courtesy of Deadline Music.

We are back after three crazy days in Dubai.

No words can express the way we feel!! The moments we lived with all of you was intense and amazing and will always have a special place in our hearts. Huge thanks to Muhammad Jaber and the JoScene for the amazing organization and of course a huge thanks to all of you who supported our show and make us feel like home.

There are only four days before we hit the stage of METAL BLAST FESTIVAL in Cairo and we are really excited! There are more to come.

Are you looking for a great new tune that will just get you out of your seat and start moshing in the comfort of your own house? Well, here's a great one for you.  It's the new tune from Suicidal Angels called "Image Of The Serpent" and it comes from the band's upcoming album Division Of Blood, which will be released on May 27th via NoiseArt Records.

If you've never heard of Suicidal Angels before, the best way to describe them would the "Greek version of Slayer" because after six albums (including the new one), they've remained consistent with thrash and will stay that way for the years to come.  Crank this bad boy down below.

The Montreal, Canada, hard rock/progressive metal band AraPacis, led by the gritty vocals of singer Shelle Macpherson and the versatile guitar sounds of leader Jerry Fielden, are set to release their fifth album, System Deceive today, April 15, 2016, ten years to the day after the release of their first album So Many Leapers. Physical copies will be available first through the band's website and will be released through their label Note Musik, distributed by Outside Music, at Canadian record stores nation-wide, as well as through electronic downloads, on the 29th of April 2016.

The album features the intriguing bass lines of Raven main man John Gallagher throughout, and other guest appearances by such as Di'Anno/Hollywood Monsters axeman Steph Honde, and Roger Fisher's (ex-Heart) Human Tribe's cellist Rachael Beaver; AraPacis will take you on a journey into a wide range of different styles, from the Progressive Metal of the title track "System Deceive" to the mix of Folk and Contemporary Classical Instrumental of "The Unknown." As is their custom, always expect the unexpected with this band!
