Portuguese old school metal outfit Decayed, 20 years ago they were an old school band and now they are yet, the last year the band released “The Ancient Brethren”, now Decayed presents a compilation with 15 song taken from every full length edited until now, plus one exclusive song for this release, “Demon Seed” with Tormentor (Desaster) on drums, it will be a milestone in the band history, and course a must for every metalhead, not trends just pure fucking metal.

Featuring a combination of death and thrash metal, Edmonton-based Death Toll Rising are known to devastate their audiences with their high octane performances that has lead the band to share the stage over the years with high profile names such as Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, The Haunted, and Aborted (to name a few).

Originally formed in 2003 in Stony Plain, AB, Canada, Death Toll Rising have been grinding the Western Canadian metal scene steadily, gaining huge momentum over the last 3 years. New addition Tylor Dory on guitars has introduced a technical and progressive element to the band they have not had in the past. Add in the intense and relentless drumming provided by Bryan Newbury (recently recruited by Canadian prog/death powerhouse INTO ETERNITY), as well as the well-rounded rhythm provided by Drew Copland on guitar and Mike Puff on bass, and you get a monster that is only now being unleashed upon the masses with vocalist Jesse Berube topping things off with a combination of brutal death growls and Tomas Lindberg-esqe high shrieks, which will be plenty noticeable on their upcoming album 'Legacy Infection'.

"Hello folks!It's time to share some important news with you all.

This summer, the band has parted ways with guitarist Andrey "Luke" Lukashkov and drummer Ilya "Alan" Piyaev.

We do really appreciate their contribution in the band success. We had a good time together, recorded some good albums, played a lot of great gigs. But time brings about changes and everybody goes his own way.

We wish Andrey and Alan good luck and success in all of their future endeavors.

And now we are happy to introduce you our brothers in arms and old friends from the industrial metal band Vergeltung: Konstantin Kot'h (guitar) and Evgeny "Evg" Trefilov (drums) as the new members of Psilocybe Larvae. They are great guys and skilled musicians who can help us reach the goals we set for ourselves.

TÝR will be streaming their brand new album, "Valkyrja," exclusively via metalblade.com/tyr all weekend! The album can be heard in its entirety beginning on Friday, September 13th, through Monday, September 16th. Fans: this is your chance to hear previously unreleased tracks, including "The Lay of Our Love," which features Leaves' Eyes vocalist Liv Kristine. Plus, TÝR's covers of Iron Maiden's "Where Eagles Dare" and Pantera's "Cemetary Gate," which about.com called "downright amazing, faithfully capturing the emotional essence of the original." Additionally, George Kollias was enlisted to handle drum recording duties on "Valkyrja." In terms of what the band hopes fans take away from the album, bassist Gunnar H. Thomsen states "I hope they will enjoy it and they like the new direction as well as (guitarist) Terji's bigger involvement in writing and George's drumming. We had a more upbeat direction without changing TÝR's style."

TÝR performed live on August 10th as part of the Faroe Island's Summarfestivalurin in Klaksvik. Over 8,000 Faroese were in attendance as the band put on a huge set featuring old favorites, as well as new tracks, including "Blood of Heroes." The event was filmed and a video for "Blood of Heroes" can be seen now at youtube.com.

Valkyrja, the seventh full-length album from TÝR, will be released next week in North America. Limited edition pre-order bundles are still available that include: TÝR rune pendants, t-shirt, vinyl, and digipak CD.
