Departing guitarist Jeff Kendrick also released a statement regarding his departure:  "I want to thank our fans all over the world for allowing me to live the dream of playing guitar in DevilDriver for the last 12 years.  It will be some of the fondest memories I will ever have, and it has been a tremendous honor and a pleasure to play for everyone, everywhere.

I want to make it clear that this is my decision, and I have nothing but love for all my brothers in the band.  I revere my bandmates with the utmost respect and am happy for all the experiences we have shared.  I am moving forward as an executive in my company "All Axess" and have several other things in the works.  Thank you to all the fans, I love you all!  This is just the beginning for me!"

This now leaves Dez Fafara as the only original member left in DevilDriver.  Just this past weekend, John and Jeff played their last show with DevilDriver at Knotfest, which was also the band's last show for the touring cycle of their latest album Winter Kills, which was released in August 2013 and was the band's first album with new label Napalm Records.  We all wish John and Jeff the best of luck in their futures, and also wish best of luck to Dez with the new Coal Chamber record and tour in 2015, and we all look forward to DevilDriver's return in 2016 with a new album and tour.  The remaining members of DevilDriver include Dez, guitarist Mike Spreitzer and bassist Chris Towning.
