Of course, I wasn't even alive yet in the 80s, but that doesn't matter. It's clear that the 80s was the greatest decade, not just for metal and hard rock, but for a lot of music in general. It's 30 years this year since 1987 and so many amazing and classic albums came out of that year, and I would love to share with you some of my favourite albums turning 30 this year.

Wow, has it really been 10 years? I started high school in 2006 when I was 14 years old, and during the fourth quarter of that year, and throughout all of 2007, I was starting to take metal more seriously by discovering many more underground bands, and I was starting to embrace bands with more extreme vocals, whether they're the metalcore screams or death metal gutterals. Of those bands, Trivium was the band that I listened to the most because they were the first band with screaming vocals that I embraced, and as I mentioned many times before, they're the reason I started getting into the more extreme and underground side of things because I heard about all these other bands that they were touring with at the time, so I decided to check out these other bands and I liked what I heard from a lot of them. Around that time as well: late 2006-early 2007, it was when I was just getting used to using YouTube, so it was easier to check out many of the underground bands I was being exposed to at the time.
The last couple of times I did lists of my favourite albums of past years, I normally did albums from five years prior, so I thought why not go back further in time to a decade ago this time? Without further ado, here is a list of my top 10 favourite albums from 2007.
It is with great pleasure we announce an upgrade to our writing services. When bands or artists request an album / song review, one of two choices can be made:
1. Paid Review – includes band pics, fully detailed written review, and a choice of one of the following features to be included: a newly released video, or embedding the bands bandcamp link, or one MP3/MP4 to upload our audio player, or embed the SoundCloud player. When payment is recieved by management for this paid service, a team member will be assigned, and we will publish the full review within 7 days. Once we receive the completed submission form, we will make payment arrangements then. We will require EPK's if available, or the band will provide us with links and info related to the band and any ongoing projects. We will provide a link to payment options once we have reviewed the submission form and make contact with the band, or artist.
The paid service fee: $20.00 ~ $50.00 ~ fee dependent on if an album or a song review, and which features are included.
2. Regular Review – this is similiar to the paid service, just a scaled back version. We will provide a written review, the album cover pic, and basic band info.
We have plans to further expand our written services in the future, which will include band bio's, album jacket write up, etc.
