Blog author: Alex Stojanovic This year's Canada Day weekend will see the fourth annual Metalocalypstick Festival taking place. The festival will be held on the weekend of June 29th and 30th, and will take place in Lone Butte, British Columbia at the Lone Butte Community Hall. The festival is a celebration of females in rock, metal and punk, and it also gives back to the community, with 100% of the proceeds going to local charities such as the Girls Rock Camp and the Vancouver Rape Relief and Women's Shelter, and Earth Protectors. This year's lineup will host bands from across Canada, as well as Tasmania, Mexico, Egypt and the USA. |
