Back in late 2011 when I was working with The Metal Review, I was given the push to start my own webzine service. Me?? Ok, let's give this a whir, shall we? Off I went to shows, and interviews with my son and his little Canon camera. Back then I walked with a cane, and hobbled quite a bit, but I persevered to get band shots, and published show reviews at my newly created website Metal Master Kingdom. I owe Darryl of Your Label Records a huge shoutout, and horns up for helping me to realize my potential that I did not even see, but he saw it and thankfully talked me into starting my own metal webzine.
Through many trials and errors, and some nay sayers, I have been able to find very passionate people to join my adventure throughout the years, with many now having moved onto other projects, and others still carrying on with us and successfully helping with tremendous viewership growth. I am forever grateful to everyone who has been part of the team, and those currently repping the zine in very fine style. The current Metal Master Kingdom team is a metal hearted family that is as diverse as the supporters who read and view our publication. Join us in throwing two horns up for what brings us together; METAL!
Metal Master Kingdom also acknowledges and appreciates the support of many metal record labels, promo companies, publicists, band management, press secretaries, concert promoters, venues, internet stations, and finally the fans. Together we have kept metal alive together over the last 6 years, and we are looking forward to many more to come!
