Mad With Power Metal & Arcade Festival Announces Full Lineup

There is no denying that metal and video games have so much synergy.  When you think about it, metal gets so much exposure through video games, especially these days because video games outsell movies and records.  That being said, what could be more perfect than an event where metal and video games come together?

Luckily, for metalheads and gamers in Madison, Wisconsin, the third annual Mad With Power Metal & Arcade Festival will be taking place at the High Noon Saloon on Saturday, August 10th.  The doors are at 5:00, it's an 18+ show, and cover price is $20.

This year's edition will see performances from the following bands:  Theocracy, Judicator, Lords Of The Trident, Helion Prime, Novareign and Widow.  In addition to all the arcade and pinball games and bands, you might also want to "test your might", because there will be an exclusive appearance by Phillip Ahn, the actor who voiced Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat II.

Some of the other activities that fans can expect are metal opera battles, and a metal video game themed museum.  Pretty awesome, right?
