I'm sure many of you know what a huge Megadeth fan I am. Even though Dave Mustaine is a nut sometimes and he definitely has his moments where I'd wish he'd stop talking, especially about politics and his faith, that takes nothing away from his guitar playing and the songs he's written. I mean, the man is a genius songwriter. I give him credit at the same time because he's not afraid to speak his mind. He's allowed to have his beliefs and his opinions, but he can get a little crazy with them sometimes.
Megadeth has been a huge part of my life for as long as I've been into metal, so I thought I'd share with you my top 5 favourite Megadeth songs. I'll probably do a rank of the albums at some point, but I want to start here for now. I remember when I first met one of my best friends Steve when I first started college in 2010, I was wearing my Megadeth shirt that I got at the Canadian Carnage show from that summer. He saw it and he said he was there as well, and we bonded instantly because he was a hardcore fan as well. I also met our very own Alex M. through Steve because they've been best buds for a while before I met them. Whenever the three of us would hang, we would go crazy on Megadeth tunes and other metal bands, going: "Check this song out!" or "Listen to this, dude!". Good times.
I love my Megadeth and I love the deep tracks, so this was a brutally tough list to do, especially with the vast catalog of great songs, but I'm always up for a challenge. After a lot of thought, here's my list.

I could go on forever with this because there's also "Angry Again", "Tornado Of Souls", "Family Tree", "Devil's Island", "Good Mourning/Black Friday", "Ashes In Your Mouth", list goes on and on. Now you're probably all thinking why I didn't include "Holy Wars". I love the song, but there's other songs I just love more.
