There are many artists who have made instrumental music their entire careers. Many of those artists like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Buckethead and Yngwie Malmsteen have been able to achieve tremendous success, while others weren't able to have the same levels of success. I guess because many people have become comfortable with hearing music with vocals, instrumentals are often under appreciated, which I think is really unfair.
I am one of those people who prefers to hear songs with vocals because I'm so used to it, but I've always been a huge fan of instrumentals. They give the bands a chance to really show their creativity, and when they play the instrumentals live, it gives the singer a chance to rest his vocals. With that being said, I decided to share with you my top 5 favourite instrumentals.
