From the first note onwards, I am reminded of Obituary, but I also find elements from various artists that have influenced the sound of Von Doom on their single titled “From Fear”. As the song progresses, we are given a range of various hard-driving rhythms that include fat bass beats and melodically driven guitars, which turn into thrash elements in the next change up, all with growling vocals reminiscent of many Viking-themed bands. All the elements for true metal writing and musicianship are very present within this most palatable tune. Recommending that you listen to this tune is a no brainier.
