As we sit here in 2022, Venom Inc. finally unleashed their long-awaited second album There's Only Black, being the first one to feature Warmachine, and real drums. All I can say is that if you loved what you heard on Ave, there's nothing on There's Only Black that you won't like. It's comprised of twelve, straight-to-the-point, Devil-laden tracks. Matter of fact, there's a lot more thrashier stuff on this album compared to Ave. Prime examples include the slamming opener "How Many Can Die", "Infinitium", "There's Only Black" and "Don't Feed Me Your Lies", as well as more groove-laden tracks like "Tyrant", "Rampant" and the closer "Inferno". I know that because there's two versions of Venom, there's always going to be people picking sides. For me, the true spirit of Venom lies with Mantas. Without him, the Venom sound wouldn't be what it is. Cronos wishes his version can still come up with music as good as Mantas and Demolition Man do, but don't expect the bastard child of Welcome To Hell or Black Metal.
