I was never exactly a Hatebreed fan, mainly because I was never a fan of hardcore, and all their songs sound pretty much the same. Over the years, they had some songs where they included more metal elements, such as guitar solos and some thrash-oriented riffs. Those were the Hatebreed songs that mainly stood out for me a bit. The band are currently working on what will be their eighth studio album, but earlier this year, they released a stand-alone single called "When The Blade Drops". To me, it sounds like "Put It To The Torch" with a guitar solo. The production is rather great, the gang vocals are there, and the length of the song is 2 minutes, which is standard for Hatebreed. I'll definitely give the new Hatebreed album a listen when it comes out, but I pretty much know what I'm going to get right off the bat. If you're a fan of Hatebreed, then you'll love this tune.
