Freudz Couch's history goes back to 1993. The band released three indie albums and multiple EPs and singles in between 1993 and 2003. |  |
However, the band reunited in 2016 and released an EP titled Ego with 5 new songs in May 2017. "Dragonfly" is one of the new songs, which this review will focus on. The moment I heard the lyrics from lead vocalist Patrick Veinot, I felt like I was listening to Axl Rose fronting Black Label Society. Add a killer bassline from bassist Vince Therrien and crunchy guitar riffs from guitarist Don Fournier and you have one great hard rocking song. The song quite a catchy course as well which made me put the song on repeat a couple times.
