The band's self-titled new album doesn't contain anything new or ground-breaking, which can be both good and not so good. After listening to the new record, I came to the conclusion that I didn't think it was as good as Cabaret De La Guillotine, but there's still a number of strong tracks like "Indoctrinate", "Bleed The Crown", "The Age Of Disinformation" and "Through The Glass". However, the rest of the tracks are very hit or miss. To simply put it, the record starts out very strongly with the first three tracks being a great triple shot right off the bat, but after that, it tapers off. I guess my only complaint is that it was exactly what I was expecting. If there was a bit more variety like there was on the last album, I'm sure this album would've been a killer. This is one of my very very few very short album reviews because I don't have too much to say about this album. However, the production, the vocals, and several riffs are just some of the elements that keeps this album afloat, even if the songwriting isn't spectacular.
Highs: Fantastic production, killer vocals, adrenaline-inducing riffs.
Lows: Very predictable and cookie-cutter thrash. Could've included a bit more variety.
