44 FIRESBrian Small – Vox
Jay (Jamie) Franklin – Guitars Tony Hampton – Bass Aaron Beard – Drums I had the wonderful experience of talking with Brian Small of 44 Fires via Skype. He proved to be quite the gentleman and friend, as I expected him to be. We talked about a variety of things. I laughed too much, perhaps. I stepped on his responses from time to time, but we made it work. We discussed the future of 44 Fires, the band’s roots, the origin of the name, and I even got a nice recipe for lemon potatoes from Brian. Brian turned the tables and interviewed me for a short time. I would expect nothing less from him. After all, we are friends, long distance ones, and we have chatted a few times. Take a listen to Brian Small talking about 44 Fires’ music and his determination to bring an important message to the world through 44 Fires’ music. 44 Fires has picked up the torch left by the exit of Rage Against The Machine, and the band have a bright future ahead of them. I wish them all the best.
