The Chris Busche Band is a Project created by Chris Busche, The band is a one man band, Except when playing live of course.
This band is fairly new to the scene, just releasing their debut album "The Walls we Build" in North America, 1st of June 2010 And worldwide merely 21 days later, from the songs I have hear off this album, They seem to be up-tempo and one instrumental song called 8709 which I find myself creating a story to in my head, such as Metallica's Suicide and Redemption does, but that's just me, The title song "The walls we Build" Starts off with catchy guitar and keeps this through out the whole song, it's one of those songs that makes you naturally nod your head to it, Same with the song "Now That It's All Over" The guitar is more distorted in this song, but non-the-less, still a great song, The rest of the album keeps this style in mind, often indulging you with catchy rhythms and keeping it in your mind even after you're done listening to the album, I found myself humming the intro of “The Walls We Build” which I think is a good sign, which keeps you listening.
This one man band is one of the best I have ever heard, as it can be hard to make music by yourself in this genre, but this guy pulls it off perfectly I find myself listening to him a lot since finding out about him, His other project which is more of an experimental folk genre still sounds good to me, so don’t forget to check that out too, But what he has pulled off with “The Walls We Build” Is extraordinary, a brilliant album and I hope to see more of this style in the future, and I hope to be hearing him in music stores all over the country soon too! People need to hear about The Chris Busche Band! Credit should be given where it is due!
Chris Busche has a great future ahead of him, and it shouldn't be long until we find him on stages all around the world selling out stadiums, That is if he keeps practising and producing brilliants albums like "The Walls we Build" in which out of a 1 - 10 scale, I give the album an 8 or and 8.5 and we'll hopefully be seeing 9.5's being churned out by this great musician!
