I had the pleasure to interview Danny Murphy, vocalist and guitarist for Rezinwolf, to see what is behind the masterminds of the incredible band that has come out with an amazing debut album Corruption Kingdom.

In addition to an appearance at Bloodkstock, he also has been contacted by well know artist James Hetfield to be told that he loves their work! This is what he had to say in our interview, which was done via messenger.

MMK: So how does it feel to release your first debut album Corruption Kingdom?

Danny Murphy: Badass man! It really brings the dream to life you know \m/

MMK: How was the recording process? How long did it take, and what was that like for you?

Danny Murphy: The recording process itself was great fun, but hardships suffered to actually make the damn record were not to be desired haha! A very eye and mind opening experience. Our Brotherz James Stephenson and Richard Campbell are Ace to work with!

MMK: So what is it like working with Killer Metal Records?

Danny Murphy: It’s an honor

MMK: What was it like when you guys got the news that you were going to be playing at Bloodstock?

Danny Murphy: Felt like a killer with a gun haha! It was such an honor to be personally invited to play our most favored metal festival man! Thanks again dudez! haha

MMK: How was it when you got to play there? Was it what you expected?

Danny Murphy: Everything plus a freight train load more! It was fuckin brutal man.

MMK: So, word is juices are flowing; new things are in progress, what should we expect from Rezinwolf next?

Danny Murphy: Another high velocity ear fuck, with plenty more fuck you fat cats! and eat my dick religion lyrics accompanied by some more musical ear teaserz and brain melterz!

MMK: Who would you like to see Rezinwolf tour with next?

Danny Murphy: All the kool bandz young and old, for the corner stone of the temple is as strong as its tallest pillar.

MMK: I know James Hetfied contacted you, to tell you he loves Rezinwolf, what was this like for you?

Danny Murphy: Haha he’s my hero man Unreal, and very humbling I doth say haha.

MMK: How does the writing process work within Rezinwolf?

Danny Murphy: Very openly, we are very attracted to ideas outside of the Pandora’s Box ya know. We like to leave our ears to perceive their own interpretation of what sounds good, I suppose we just think "A good song is a good song" and shouldn’t be ruined with politics.

MMK: Where does Rezinwolf's artwork come from?

Danny Murphy: An idea I had on a pun of the United Kingdom, saying "hey big people! This is what it’s really like for us little people!" Brad, Sam, Kirk and I then began to craft a visual adaptation of what we thought would complement that darkness of the theme....
Colin Marks then perfected our rough idea and NAILED IT! In my opinion anyway haha!

MMK: Now one last question for you. What would you like to say to all of your fans out there?

Danny Murphy: Thank you! Rezinwolf love the 'fuckin' Wolf pack! Cheerz and beerz too many more nutty timez!!
