New Hampshire band Anderson Lane formed in the summer of 2010 and quickly gained presence in the area. In their short history they have already played with national bands such as Vanna, Texas In July, Our Last Night, and I See Stars; just to name a few. They entered the studio in June of 2011 to record their debut EP entitle "DFWIB" which is set to be released in the fall on Your Label Records.

That’s what the bio of the band Anderson Lane reads on their facebook page although there’s more to this band than words can express. The release of their EP will mark a huge advancement for the band by spreading their music far beyond the reaches of New Hampshire into other states in The USA as well as outwards to Australia and the UK. The debut release, (no date scheduled yet) is something to anticipate!

The song “Devastating” from DFWIB starts out with intense screams followed by melodic cleans with the lyrics “When will I finally decide to burn down all these bridges…” paving the way for what promises to be an impactful and energetic song with a great mix of heavy and harmonic music and vocals. Moving into the gang chants really pumps the blood before switching back to another cleans chorus and a much faster tempo that finishes off the song. Being just one of the four songs off the new EP, you can expect the others to follow suit and hold your attention through the whole EP. The songs are listed first to last as follows, Devastating, Hit Me, Loyal, and  DFWIB. You’ll have to wait for the CD to drop to hear this great music for yourself although I assure you it’s worth the wait.

Anderson Lane plans to play as many shows as they can in 2012 and hopes to spread the release to every corner of the globe.
