OH-WAH-AH-AH-AH!!!  That right there has become one of the most; if not the most, iconic and recognizable vocal hook of the 2000s.  It was the time when nu metal was the new dominant force in heavy music, and people were primed and ready for the angry attack that was to come from a little debut album that is now an absolute classic called The Sickness by a little band from Chicago called Disturbed.  As we sit here now in 2025, that album is finally getting its chance to be celebrated in style with a 25th anniversary tour where the band play the album in its entirety.

​Can you believe that the end of 2024 is upon us?!  We've seen a bunch of great tours come through this season as we always do, but the fall concert season is still in full swing with some more to go.  One of the most anticipated tours that's capping off this year is Exodus' first headlining tour in several years across North America dubbed The Battle Of '24, with dates in both the U.S and Canada.  The last time Exodus did a full headline tour of their own across the continent was in 2010 when Rob Dukes was fronting.  The co-headline tours they did with Testament and Obituary don't count.

​Since last year, the Klash Of The Titans Tour has done quite a few tours across the globe, with Kreator being the mainstay of the bill, and having shared that bill with bands like Testament, Sepultura, Death Angel and In Flames around North America, South America, Asia and Australia.  For the latest edition, Kreator teamed up once again with Testament for an extensive run across North America, with Possessed as special guests.

"VALHALLA, DELIVERANCE, WHY'VE YOU EVER FORGOTTEN ME?!"

Whether you love power metal or not, you know that famous chorus, and you cannot help but get sucked into it and sing along to it every time it comes on in the car, your room, a party or at a show.  That's exactly what the Bards of Toronto got to experience when Blind Guardian made their long-awaited return to North America with a tour that included a Toronto date at Rebel on May 9. 

It was the band's first tour of North America since 2016, but their first time in Toronto since 2015, and needless to say that the fans were more than delighted to see the band finally return after so long.  Part of the long wait was for obvious reasons, which we don't need to get into, but they also put out their latest album The God Machine in 2022 when things were just starting to get back to normal for touring.

It has been a topic of discussion for well over a decade, and the unimaginable came to fruition just last year, when Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown announced that they would be teaming up together for a bunch of Pantera tribute shows.  The announcement caused quite a division between the fans, with one half being really stoked on it, and the other half causing an uproar and calling the move and insult to the legacy and the Abbott brothers.  At first, when it was announced, I wasn't sure how I felt about it.  However, as more details started rolling out, I started to get behind it more and more.
